About Us

“You’re leaving AGAIN?!” — not the first time I’ve heard that from a friend this month.

It does feel like we live out of suitcases more often than not these days. As much as I love our friends and family in Seattle, we are both nomads at heart. Ridley spent most of 8th grade on a worldwide sabbatical with his family, and I’m the kind of person who chose to spend a semester on a student-run sailboat crossing the Atlantic Ocean. We bonded over this shared restlessness and discovered on our first date that we’d both walked the Camino de Santiago as kids — so is it really a big surprise that we now spend more time on airplanes than the average late-twentysomething?

We get a lot of questions about how we’re able to travel as much as we do, our favorite places, itineraries, and photos of all of the above. I’m guessing that’s why you’re here!

I can’t wait to give you a real inside look at our travels (both the good and the type 2 fun adventures), and I’m so glad you’re here!
